EDGE is an award winning cloud-based clinical research management system developed by the Clinical Informatics Research Unit (CIRU), from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
EDGE is a programme dedicated to developing a unique approach to the management and conduct of clinical research through its purpose-built software.
EDGE provides research professionals with faster access to real-time data, allowing them to track and manage their studies from start to finish as well giving them complete oversight of their participant recruitment.
Through its collaborative features and design EDGE fully promotes the sharing of data and removes the duplication of efforts. Whilst improving the quality of research data EDGE allows for more time to be spent with patients, delivering better care and faster treatment.
